Terms & Conditions

Program rules, eligibility, intellectual property, royalty model, and legal terms for participating in TSIH India Cohort 1.

Acceptance of Terms

By registering on tsih.in, submitting a startup profile, applying for the cohort, or paying a seat confirmation fee, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use our website or submit an application.

Eligibility

  • Idea-stage startups with at least two founders (maximum four).
  • At least one founder must hold an Indian passport.
  • All founders must be 18 years or older.
  • Full in-person attendance in Gujarat for the 30-day residency (30 Nov – 30 Dec 2026).
  • Each founder must bring their own laptop (minimum 8GB RAM).

Applications & Selection

Submitting an application does not guarantee selection. TSIH may reject applications at any stage without obligation to provide detailed reasons.

All information you provide must be accurate. Misrepresentation may result in disqualification or removal from the program.

Shortlisted founders may be required to complete a video interview and sign program agreements before the residency begins.

Fees & Equity

  • Application and program participation: ₹0 upfront equity and ₹0 program fee for selected cohort founders.
  • Seat confirmation fee (where applicable): a one-time payment to reserve a shortlisted seat, as displayed at checkout.
  • Royalty model: 5% of gross revenue, capped at ₹8,00,000 total, with no minimum payment if revenue is zero.

Intellectual Property

Code, designs, and deliverables created by TSIH-provided developers and designers during the 30-day sprint are assigned to your startup, subject to signed IP assignment agreements before Day 1.

Pre-existing IP remains yours. TSIH may use anonymised case studies and your startup name for marketing unless you opt out in writing.

Conduct & Termination

Founders must follow residency rules, mentor guidance, and community standards. Harassment, fraud, or repeated absence may result in expulsion.

Voluntary departure or expulsion before Day 30: no royalty obligation and no access to MVP code built during the program.

Completing the program: royalty terms apply even if you later pivot or pause the startup, unless a written waiver is agreed.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

TSIH provides mentorship, resources, and development support but does not guarantee funding, revenue, product-market fit, or investor interest.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TSIH is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential business losses arising from participation in the program.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
